Performance Testing Test Analyst
Job Description:
As we work to transform and optimize Mars, a new program has been mobilized by the Mars leadership team. The program
is focused on the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA in Mars across Segments (Petcare, Corporate, Snacking &
Food). Much more than a simple "Lift and Shift," this program will undertake a major process simplification and
harmonization scope as we digitally transform our business.
The program will focus primarily on eight mega process areas: Finance, Source to Pay (procurement and vendor mgmt.), Plan to Fulfill (manufacturing and distribution), Lead to Cash (order processing and payment), Governance, Engage to
Consume (marketing), Idea to Market (R&D), and Recruit to Retire (HR). This program requires a Technology and Transformation Team for delivering the technical foundations and operational readiness of the S/4HANA Transformation.
As part of the Transformation Team, the test workstream will deliver a robust best practice test service which will be scalable to meet the requirements of Mars future deployments. This team will provide a robust strategy, governance,
methodology, tooling and quality.
As part of this transformation, a new role has been created for a Performance Test Analyst. This role will be responsible for supporting the overall performance testing strategy.

What are we looking for?
- Have an IT background with at least 3 years of experience in ERP/SAP Development, Implementation or Transformation projects in a coordinating role
- Have profound knowledge of testing management including performance test processes and standards
- Experience in gathering non functional requirements in SAP transformation projects
- Excellent understanding of S/4HANA product roadmap
- Be very well organized with experience in effectively setting deadlines, and assigning responsibilities followed by monitoring, summarizing data, and communicating across various stakeholder groups ensuring clear ownership is established for all activities
- You need to have attention to detail and coordinate with Test Factory and external partners
- Have team player attitude and hunger to develop new professional skills combined with proactive, development-minded, and goal-focused attitude to work
- Excellent documentation, visualization and presentation skills
- Have experience working with System Integrator and Business Integrator, 3rd parties
- Excellent relationship-building, networking and influencing skills with ability to function successfully in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional manner.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Strategy & Governance: Contribute to the enterprise-wide performance testing strategy aligned with the SAP S/4HANA transformation roadmap and satellite system integrations. Promote the adoption of governance frameworks, standards, and policies for performance testing across multiple teams and vendors. Ensure performance testing objectives align with business priorities, compliance requirements, and overall quality goals. Participate in cross-functional collaboration to integrate performance testing seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
- Coordination of Performance KPIs and Testing Activities: Coordinate the data for performance KPIs and expected results in collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and application owners. Plan and coordinate performance testing activities with the Performance Test Lead and Test factory executing load testing and other teams responsible for monitoring system response and behaviour under load. Support the teams with timing and system environment requirements for executing performance tests. Facilitate communication and synchronization between load testing execution and system monitoring teams to enable comprehensive performance analysis
- Collaboration: Partner with the Testing Centre of Excellence (COE), which will provide load testing services using Tricentis NeoLoad. Communicate clear criteria and guidelines for when and how load testing services should be leveraged by project teams. Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment between the COE, project teams, and external vendors to drive continuous improvement in performance testing practices
- Tooling and Framework Strategy: Oversee the adoption and standardization of Tricentis NeoLoad as the primary performance testing tool across the program. Promote best practices for performance test design, execution, and analysis
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Collaborate with program management, business process owners, infrastructure teams, and IT leadership to communicate performance testing strategy, progress, and risks. Present workshops and governance forums to align expectations and promote and support a culture of performance excellence. Provide guidance on performance testing to project teams, external vendors, and business users
- Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Identify performance-related risks impacting system stability, scalability, or user experience. Work with Performance Test Lead on mitigation of risks and issues. Monitor performance testing KPIs and metrics to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present test reports and analysis to stakeholders
- Tools: Experience in testing tools (Tricentis NeoLoad, JIRA, SNOW, eCATT, SAP Solution Manager, AzureDevOps, Cloud ALM or equivalent such as HP/MF ALM) for test management.
