Sr. Sales Capability Manager

Job Description:

The Sr. Sales Capabilities Manager plays a critical role in building and driving the capability roadmap for the MW US Sales organization. This includes understanding overall capability needs and gaps in line with our business strategy/agenda and developing a multi-year plan to meet those needs. The Sr. Sales Capabilities Manager is responsible for collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to create relevant and impactful training material and tools for line managers to embed the capabilities with their associates.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 7 years work experience with Field Sales, Head Quarter Sales, Category Management and/or Learning & Development (preferably Sales-related experience & learning & development expertise)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others to deliver mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging learning & development content in dynamic and relevant manner, customized for differentiated audiences
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including ability to influence and manage conflict.
  • Experience managing activities along timelines with specified resourcing (i.e., project management).

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Regularly evaluate Sales capability needs and gaps in line with long-term business strategy
  • Develop and execute multi-year capabilities roadmap for US Sales organization
  • Lead creation & execution of supporting annual learning & development plan in partnership with external vendors and internal SMEs
  • Lead preparation & execution of key events that include training sessions (i.e. - National Sales Meeting)
  • Develop & maintain Sales functional onboarding program
  • Manage Sales learning & development resources (training materials, sharepoint, etc)
  • Continue to test and diversify learning & development capabilities/tools based on evolving learning styles
