Job Description:
This is a hybrid role requiring up to 3 days onsite weekly in our Nashville, TN office.
This exciting role is part of the Mars Pet Nutrition Digital Technologies Group, which is focused on bringing new technology into our segments and functions to enable value creation and drive business objectives. What are we looking for?
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Project management training/certification preferred
- 2-4 years experience in Supply Chain/Logistics IT
- Experience in business analysis, systems design, application integration, testing.
- Project management experience of IT projects
- Knowledge of Supply Chain IT solutions for WMS/TMS/SAP

What will be your key responsibilities?
- Captures business requirements and converts these into functional and technical specifications.
- Develops a thorough functional and technical understanding of software applications.
- Applies technical and functional knowledge to design solutions which are in line with technical architecture, database design and performance requirements; and which are appropriate given the context within which they will be implemented.
- Manages project plans and delivery for smaller projects (up to $0.5M annually), or on larger projects manages the plan for defined activities.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of the Supply Chain/Logistics area to aid in the development of accurate and concise functional requirements.
- Ensures any contractors understand their roles and responsibilities within the context of the project, to ensure their contribution to overall project success.
- Identifies & understands the business and systems impact of the solution and plans the detailed tasks required to achieve delivery of the fully tested solution.
- Coordinates internal and 3rd party technical resources during development implementation, and nurturing phases.
- Delivers solutions which are quality and functionally tested, with supporting project documentation which meet functional and technical requirements.
- Manages 3rd parties to ensure delivery per Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and recommends improved ways of working.
- Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for planning resources, project milestones, risks and financials.
- Engages Business Partnership Managers & Business Functional Experts to ensure successful project deployment and benefits achievement.
- Escalates issues and risks to the Deployment Project Manager or Senior Deployment Project Manager.
