Leadership (GLMe) Program Owner

The core objective of this role is to enable critical upskilling for line managers at Mars by overseeing the implementation of the Global Great Line Management Experience (GLMe) tailored for first-time line managers. This position holds responsibility for ensuring the ongoing deployment and maximizing the impact of the first-time managers' learning solution on a global scale.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic GLMe Program Owner. This role is pivotal in upskilling line managers through the implementation and global deployment of the Global Learning Management Program (GLMe), designed specifically for first-time line managers. Qualifications include:

  • a Bachelor's degree
  • bilingual strongly preferred (English and Spanish, Portuguese, or French)
  • at least 5 years of experience in leadership learning facilitation
  • Strong competencies in strategic mindset, stakeholder management, and training facilitation are essential
  • The role demands excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of learning development in a large, global organization.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ensure the quality of program content and delivery aligns with Mars' standards and objectives, fostering critical skill-building for new managers.
  • Act as a skilled Master-trainer, consistently enhancing the capabilities of external facilitators (and internal trainers) to maintain high-quality program delivery while ensuring rigorous quality control measures are in place.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive deployment plan, carefully balancing segment and regional stakeholder needs with global operational efficiency to maximize program effectiveness.
  • Foster proactive collaboration with executives, senior stakeholders, and sponsors to drive program success throughout the organization.
  • Analyze program data to extract valuable insights on quality and performance, guiding future enhancements, content updates, and deployment strategies.
  • Manage external vendors to ensure the delivery of engaging learning experiences, overseeing all aspects of the RFP and SOW processes, as well as ongoing vendor relationships and quality control.
  • Maintain oversight of the program delivery budget, ensuring accurate pricing, timely SOWs, and efficient cost management.
