Data Governance Manager - Supply Chain/Manufacturing

The Data Governance Manager - Supply Chain/Manufacturing will be responsible for ensuring data practices, governance and standards are in place to enable accessibility, timeliness, quality, completeness, and continuous improvement. He/She will be the single-point of contact representing the NA Supply Chain Region to drive Data Stewardship and accountability for connectedness with the Global Supply Chain Data & Analytics (SCDA) program across Data Mesh and Manufacturing Data Platform & the Chief Data Office. This role will be accountable for aligning best practices and approaches across the end-to-end Supply Chain including our Manufacturing Sites to achieve a Unified & Connected enterprise data Mesh Model.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics or related quantitative fields (Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Econometrics etc.) Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Governance, Stewardship, Data Engineering role or equivalent, ideally within the FMCG, Consumer Products, Manufacturing Industries
  • Experience in database and data engineering capabilities

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvements, skills enhancement, building understanding for excellent execution in collaboration with the digital technology teams.
  • Provide insights on identified issues through analytical approaches to data with the appropriate stakeholders across the organization.
  • Manage continuous improvement action plans with the respective stakeholders to improve data completeness, timeliness and data quality as it relates to supply chain data covering both master and transactional data sources.
  • Own the data RACI and ensures that the appropriate information is available to the right level of stakeholders. Presents results in a compelling and clear manner to pinpoint areas of improvement.
  • Create a data design to ensure there is always only one point of reference (one version of the truth).
  • Create the set-up to contextualize data & create relationships between datapoints that allow for rapid insight generation leveraging business logic and analytical practices.
