The Role

We are seeking a talented SDET with strong programming skills to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our software automation tests, tools, and framework. This role is crucial to ensuring the reliability and testability of our software suite. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software quality, experienced in automation, approach automation-tests with a software developer mindset, and capable of collaborating across development, QA, Product, and support teams.
How You'll Help Take Us There
- Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch (e.g., using Selenium, Playwright)
- Develop and maintain end-to-end, UI, API, and integration tests
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code for test automation
- Collaborate with developers to understand new features and improve test coverage
- Review code and provide feedback to peers on test quality and structure
What We’re Looking for
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation with strong development background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Protractor, Playwright
- Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of testing strategies: unit, integration, functional, performance, regression
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be willing to attend an onsite interview that includes a live coding test
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language - TypeScript, Python, Java are good options.
- Experience working with REST APIs and validating responses using automation tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,000 USD to $140,00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
