The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our European Regulatory Operations Scrum team. The Senior Test Automation Engineer will have a background in trading or investment banking domain and will be working within the scrum team to design and run automated tests and to help delivering value via features/user stories each sprint.
How You’ll Help Take Us There
- Designing test suites for automation to validate functional and non-functional requirements
- Designing test automation framework in Java, Selenium and creating Automation scripts for Regression
- Maintaining and improving existing regression test suites
- Executing Automated and Manual Test cases
- Leading offshore test team members on feature/project delivery
- Keeping up to date with new developments and strategies within their area and the general IT marketplace.
- Offering ideas, advice, and support regarding improvement initiatives within the team.
- Doing what is necessary to ensure all team tasks are completed on schedule
- Working closely with Product Owners, Developers and Client Support staff
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in automated testing and creating test automation framework
- 2+ years’ experience in Financial Services
- Ability to analyze and develop test cases for trading applications
- Ability to build on trading system knowledge and provide inputs to the team
- Experience with Java, C# and other object-oriented programming languages to create/ modify automation framework
- Experience testing FIX APIs
- Hands-on experience working on the Cucumber framework for behavior-driven development (BDD) to automate software testing
- Experience with Selenium is a plus
- SQL knowledge with SQL Server or Oracle experience
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Exposure to systems developed on various platforms (Windows and Linux)
- ISEB/ISTQB certification to at least Foundation level is a plus
- Agile Ways of Working, preferably SAFe framework
