The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Transformation Office to lead our transformation initiatives across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving change management processes, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives, and enhancing operational efficiency within our trading platform. This Head of Transformation Office will work alongside product and technical leads to identify opportunities for change that enhance business performance, client experience and ensure successful outcomes.

In addition, this position will establish a central Program Management Office (PMO) that provides governance, tools, and discipline across all major change efforts. This role will be based in New York City and report into our Head of Trading Products.


How You’ll Help Take Us There

Change Leadership & Orchestration

  • Provide program leadership for major trading product engineering change initiatives, including transformation.
  • Coordinate across product, technology, operations, risk, and vendors to ensure dependencies are managed, risks escalated, and milestones achieved.
  • Define and oversee hybrid delivery models (agile for product features, structured program management for large-scale platform change). Facilitate decision-making and trade-offs on scope, sequencing, and resourcing across leadership teams.

Performance Measurement

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of transformation initiatives on organizational performance.
  • Analyze data and feedback to continuously improve change processes and outcomes.

PMO Set-up & Management

  • Establish an enterprise PMO, defining governance structures, reporting frameworks, and delivery standards.
  • Introduce consistent tools, templates, and methodologies for program and project management.
  • Track portfolio-level delivery status, risks, dependencies, and budgets across all major initiatives.
  • Produce executive dashboards and board-level reporting on progress, risks, and benefits.

Governance & Risk

  • Design and chair program governance forums (steering committees, working groups).
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk, and compliance standards throughout program delivery.

Handover & Assurance

  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and tools within existing frameworks.
  • Validate that required controls, documentation, and operational processes are in place post-delivery.
  • Track benefits realization against agreed business cases.

What We’re Looking For

  • 15+ years’ experience in program, transformation or change management within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level transformation programs (multi-year, multi-region) involving both product, technology and process change.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale product and technology change programs (platform re-platforming, migrations, vendor integrations).
  • Strong experience in setting up and running PMOs (enterprise or divisional).
  • Deep familiarity with SDLCs and product governance, ideally with hybrid models (agile + PRINCE2).
  • Experience in program governance, and executive-level stakeholder management.
  • Strong familiarity with risk and regulatory considerations in product technology change.
  • Deep competence in program planning, dependency mapping, and delivery risk management.
  • Familiarity with benefits realization frameworks and how to quantify transformation ROI.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $200,000 USD to $275,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
