Facilities Coordinator

The Role

This position will work directly with Facilities and support the company's pantries. We are seeking a diligent and organized Facilities Coordinator who loves to roll up their sleeves and believes that there is no job too big and no job too small. As the Facilities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels for our 7 pantries, ensure cleanliness and efficiency of our facilities, and provide support to our kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. The hours for this role are 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with one hour for lunch and overtime eligibility.

How You'll Help Take Us There

• Prepare coffee in the morning, ensure freshness and maintain cleanliness of coffee equipment and serving areas
• Restock eating and drinking utensils
• Load and unload dishwashers in kitchen areas
• Maintain supply cart in order to stock pantries
• Spot-clean if needed (wiping surfaces, sweeping, remove smudges from glass surfaces, etc.)
• Set up Café in advance of lunch or other larger, catered events
• Interact with catering vendors and escalate issues as needed 
• Break down boxes for any supplies received
• Check copy room supply levels and restock if needed  
• Order and receive pantry deliveries, inspect items for quality and quantity, and properly stock pantry shelves and storage areas; rotate stock to ensure older items are used first (FIFO method)
• Coordinate the delivery of perishable, non-perishable pantry supplies and office supplies from various vendors and validate receipt of items billed
• Ensure all vendors are properly entered into the Hudson Yard loading dock and visitor system
• Report all equipment maintenance needs
• Maintain a log of maintenance tasks completed 

What We’re Looking for

• 1+ years' applicable work experience required; warehouse, facilities and hospitality experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; technologically savvy
• Food handler's certificate or similar preferred
• Strong attention to detail 
• Displays organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  
• Friendly, enthusiastic, professional demeanor; ability to interact with all levels of the business 
• Ability to guide process improvement in areas of responsibility 
• Works efficiently and resourcefully
• Willing to lend a hand where possible and perform ad hoc duties as needed

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $50,000 USD to $65,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
