Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and diverse environment supporting cross-functional teams globally. Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: Up to $40/hour
What's the Job?
- Conduct supplier qualification and development, ensuring high technical and quality standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) according to applicable standards.
- Implement and optimize Supplier Quality Management processes to ensure quality compliance.
- Initiate and track supplier quality improvement programs and risk mitigation measures.
- Participate in design reviews and support early supplier involvement for new designs.

What's Needed?
- Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline; Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier qualification and technical supplier development.
- Experience in leading projects and managing virtual cross-functional teams in an international setting.
- Extensive knowledge of welding and coating; CWI certification preferred.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and presentation skills.
