Project Manager Welding

Our client, a leading provider of advanced automation solutions for the automotive industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams supporting Welding Operations  Business Unit. 

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Shelby Township, MI | Requires 50% travel within USA
Pay Range: $100 - $120K 

What’s the Job?

• Lead automotive projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Interpret and manage complex commercial contracts and scope of work documents
• Oversee welding-related operations and ensure compliance with technical standards
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Monitor project financials including budgets, invoicing, and payment collection

What’s Needed?

• 10+ years of project management experience in automotive or manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, codes, and inspection standards
• Proven ability to manage commercial contracts and project documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and project management tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; PMP certification preferred
