Our client, within a stone wool insulation manufacturing plant is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will provide leadership and technical expertise to the production, maintenance, environmental, and quality departments through training as well as optimize performance efficiency on the production line(s) using continuous improvement skills, troubleshooting skills, project management skills, and automation programming.

Pay Range: $85,000-$120,000 Yearly

What’s the Job?
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate, then develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Own Process optimization and cost reduction initiatives for sustainable processes.
- Implement technology and tool improvements to impact Safety, Quality, Cost targets, and overall equipment effectiveness of the production line.
- Creates, reviews, modifies, and assists in planning preventative maintenance for equipment in cooperation with Total Preventative Maintenance Supervisor
What’s Needed?
- 5 + years Manufacturing Automation or process engineer experience, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Maintain an up-to-date passport for travel (5%)
- Advanced knowledge of Siemens PLC Programming
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis (e.g., A3, Fishbone, 5 Why, etc.)
- Controls background
