Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with automation experience to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing powertrain assembly equipment according to the client’s mechanical drawing standards. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Wixom, MI
Pay Rate: Pay is between $35-40/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)
Key Responsibilities
- Designing full automation lines including individual stations/cells within the automation system

Requirements
- 4 -6 years of experience in automotive machine automation
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCad
- Exposure to powertrain system automation (a plus, but not required)
