Lead Engineering Technician

Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Lead Engineering Technician, you will be part of the testing department supporting various engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Lead Engineering Technician

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Rate: $33/hr

What's the Job?

• Execute hands-on diverse technical tasks related to testing Inertial and Guidance Electronics products.
• Prepare test documentation and review test work instructions and procedures.
• Perform dynamic, thermal, and functional testing using specialized test equipment.
• Maintain detailed test logs and follow detailed test procedures without error.
• Collaborate daily with test technicians and engineers to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government regulations.
• A minimum of two years of experience with general test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and power supplies.
• Formal technical training from an educational institution or the U.S. military is preferred.
• Ability to work with little supervision and take initiative in completing tasks.
