Engineering Technician

Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Operations Team supporting the development of innovative electronic hardware for automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, innovation, and a self-starter attitude, which will align successfully with our dynamic organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: San Carlos, CA

Pay Range: $39 per hour

What's the Job?

• Follow directions closely while adhering to detailed processes for each assignment.
• Assist engineers during the development of new products to optimize the manufacturing process.
• Help develop solutions and alternative assembly techniques to resolve issues.
• Accurately assemble and test a variety of electronic hardware from engineering prototypes through short-run production.
• Perform as a Quality Delegate, inspecting work from other technicians in the Engineering Lab.

What's Needed?

• AS degree with 4-6 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Technical training, such as soldering, trade school, or OJT classes (preferred).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Proficient using standard assembly tools: cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, and torque tools.
