Electrical Test Engineer – Autonomous Systems

Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the development and validation of cutting-edge electronic platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer – Autonomous Systems

Location: San Carlos, CA (Will relocate to Foster City, CA towards the end of Q3)

Pay Range: $83

What's the Job?

• Build and release test solutions for early bring-up activities.
• Work cross-functionally to implement the correct test coverage and process across all phases of manufacturing (PCBA, module, system, vehicle).
• Support the test and validation of prototype designs.
• Establish best practices and drive continuous improvement for improving test execution, test runtime, and yield.

What's Needed?

• BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent technical degree.
• 6-8 years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and testing electronic assemblies; knowledge of NPI testing and validation is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in git, python, and shell (bash) scripting; experience with other programming languages such as C++ is beneficial.
