Our client, a leading player in the hospitality industry, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join their team for a temporary remote assignment. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be part of the Sales Department supporting various hotel brands. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a proactive approach to sales which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Sales Manager

Location: New York, NY

Pay Range: $27 to $32 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Represent the hotel by soliciting, responding to, and negotiating with clients requiring large group accommodations.
  • Prepare proposals and contracts to inform prospective customers about room, meeting space, and catering options.
  • Engage in outside sales activities to explore business opportunities and entertain clients.
  • Conduct site inspections with potential customers, showcasing guest rooms and facilities.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to support business operations and strategy.

What's Needed?

  • A minimum of two years of experience in hotel sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Word, Excel, and sales management tools.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
