Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Procurement / Purchasing Clerk (Data Entry) to join their team. As a Procurement Clerk, you will be responsible for entering high volumes of purchase orders (POs) into our internal system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources, and monitoring material receipt. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, materials handling, and basic MRP principles, along with advanced Excel and Outlook skills.

Note: Applicants must reside within a 35-mile radius of the Plano, TX facility. This is an onsite role and daily attendance is required.
Pay Range: $22 - $24++/hr depending on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday; day shift

What’s the Job?
- Accurately create and enter purchase orders based on data from multiple formats/sources
- Monitor and track inbound materials, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Has experience coordinating with Receiving Team to validate and handle incoming goods.
- Resolve PO discrepancies or issues related to tracking, receipt, or vendor communication
- Maintain up-to-date records of order statuses and inventory data in Excel and internal systems
- Manage high-volume email communication with vendors and internal departments
- Support logistics coordination efforts to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Assist in process improvements related to data entry and PO tracking
What’s Needed?
- At least 1yr experience in high-volume data entry or purchasing support role (procurement, material handling, and/or logistics)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time-sensitive conditions
- Knowledge of procurement processes, logistics, and MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – with heavy use of Excel
- Sharp analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment that values precision, initiative, and follow-through
