Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join their team. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be part of the Supply Chain department supporting the transportation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Logistics Analyst
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay Range: Based on experience $15-$18
Bonus: $500.00 after 30 days working
Shift: Monday through Friday - 7AM to 5PM
What's the Job?
- Monitor and track inbound/outbound international shipments via air and sea.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
- Analyze freight costs, shipping trends, and carrier performance to support continuous improvement.
- Prepare and audit freight invoices for accuracy; resolve billing discrepancies with carriers and finance teams.
- Maintain shipping records and documentation in compliance with international trade regulations.

What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in logistics or freight operations, with a focus on air and sea transportation.
- Experience with freight billing, invoice reconciliation, and logistics cost analysis.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, international documentation, and customs processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) a plus.
