Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Development Lab Technician to join their team. As a Development Lab Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting local and overseas teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician Level 1

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Range: $18.00

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

  • Assemble and modify low voltage motor control centers per engineer specifications for testing.
  • Maintain test documentation and prepare comprehensive test reports.
  • Initiate and manage work orders, aiding in tracking and close-out of work orders.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and testing.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

What's Needed?

  • Technical school education or equivalent experience (up to 1 year).
  • Familiarity with power distribution equipment.
  • Physical ability to use tools and devices requiring dexterous work with hands.
  • Mental and visual ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • A proactive approach to adapting and embracing change within the workplace.
