Our client, a global equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join their team. As a Bookkeeper/Office Manager, you will be part of the front office supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Location: Franksville

Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000

What's the Job?

  • Processing incoming payments through various channels including ACH, Stripe, Checks, and Authorize.net.
  • Managing outgoing payments and maintaining the customer deposit list.
  • Acting as the primary contact for customers regarding payment issues such as overpayments and unauthorized deductions.
  • Collaborating in the dunning process and handling accounts payable and vouchers.
  • Performing general bookkeeping duties, including posting and logging items into the General Ledger and sending electronic invoices to customers.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Familiarity with accounting software; knowledge of Pro-Alpha or ADP is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Knowledge of Form 1099 and experience with financial statement preparation is advantageous.
