Your Impact
As a Store Operations Retail Facilities Support Intern, you'll gain valuable experience supporting the day-to-day operations that ensure Lowe's stores remain safe, functional, and customer-ready. Working alongside our Retail Facilities and Store Operations teams, you'll assist in coordinating maintenance requests, tracking vendor activity, and analyzing store-level data to help improve facilities support across our 1,700+ locations. This role is ideal for someone interested in operations, facilities coordination, and gaining insight into how Lowe's keeps its stores running efficiently behind the scenes.

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26th - July 31st, 2026) immerses you in real-world retail operations. You'll work directly with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

What You Will Learn
- Assist with the intake and resolution of store maintenance requests through facilities systems and reporting tools.
- Help monitor vendor performance metrics and contract compliance to ensure efficient resolution of work orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support national programs related to HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Support store communication efforts, ensuring accurate updates and service expectations are shared with key stakeholders.
- Analyze facilities data to identify trends in store support needs and help prioritize process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working with data and learning internal platforms.
- Interest in operational coordination, service delivery, or retail support roles.
- Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus.
