Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic space planning, project management of space build out, and delivering and maintaining consistent quality customer service, including services provided by third party contractors, while ensuring that Lowe's maximizes the use of its corporate facilities and assets. This includes responsibility for setting strategic workplace design standards, office furniture procurement, inventory and installation, project management, and move management across a number of corporate campuses, offices, and ancillary support facilities.
What You Will Do
- Manages and oversees the space planning team, coordinating work assignments, anticipating needs of the organization and utilizing resources appropriately.
- Directs and manages space planning efforts, budgets, scheduling, and project management across other functional areas (i.e…IT, Procurement, Real Estate, Construction) within the company.
- Identifies, designs and implements comprehensive space planning, facility, and asset management solutions for "high corporate initiatives throughout a geographically disbursed portfolio.
- Maintains awareness of changes and trends in office space utilization, including floor densification, alternative furniture concepts, space sharing and alternative workplace strategies.
- Manages the implementation and coordination of an effective and efficient move, add and change (MAC) program to accommodate corporate churn rate while providing a high of customer service.
- Utilizes various facility technologies to include Computer Assisted Facility Management (CAFM) system, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to effectively manage and organize headcount data, facility space. plans, move management, employee location data, furniture types, etc. to ensure appropriate alignment to business units and needs.
- Drives the development of tactical plans aligned with Corporate Facilities Department and business strategy in order to bring the vision into realization.
- Hires, trains and develops the talent necessary to achieve stated objectives providing meaningful development opportunities for individuals in preparation for succession planning.
- Negotiates effectively for the organization with internal and external stakeholders and builds relationships with key individuals necessary for collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Architecture or Engineering or related field and 8-10 Years Experience in facilities management
- 5-7 Years Related experience
- 3-5 Years Experience as a Space Planner or equivalent and proven work experience in facility planning, space planning, facility utilization, program and project management for a large, geographically dispersed, campus environment
Preferred Skills/Education
- Strong experience in space planning and utilization in large, geographically dispersed, campus environment
- Strong restacking/space densification experience in large corporate office environment
