The Principal Product Manager focuses on product design strategy and high-level plans at the product portfolio or enterprise level. This role serves as a product management subject matter expert, providing a high level of expertise across a product domain. This role also participates in the design of the long-term product strategy for the enterprise, providing a high level of expertise in product area(s) that can be applied to multiple product groups. In these scenarios, this role will own the entire product and delivery process, responsible for end-to-end delivery, identifying all requirements and delivering the optimal solution.

Innovate in Charlotte

This position is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina but will also require time at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Key Responsibilities

  • Shapes and influences long-term product strategy and direction across a large portfolio or complex domain.
  • Leads competitive analysis, persona research, and customer insights to guide product decisions.
  • Establishes standards for product excellence, usability, and cross-functional delivery
  • Builds frameworks for product marketing, metrics-driven culture, and enterprise-wide product alignment.
  • Elevates domain strategy by leveraging industry trends, OKRs, and enterprise priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree) and 10 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing
  • 7 years of experience in product and/or experience management
  • Experience in an agile software environment with strong writing ability
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a large organization with senior leadership
  • Experience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverables
