Planogram Sr Specialist
Your Impact
The purpose of this role is to develop the presentation of the merchandise in Lowe's stores, using space management software. Supports all new and remerchandised stores by creating and publishing complete sets of accurate planograms in accordance with countdown schedules. In addition, supports the merchandising teams' efforts by providing planogram changes on a timely basis based upon the decisions of the team(s).
What you will do
• Acts as a source of information and as the contact for product placement issues coming from merchandising, store operations, vendors, and service groups including information pertaining to displays, signage, graphics and special instructions
• Obtain all information necessary to enable planogram production including item dimensions, images of products, carpentry, electrical and installation instructions to support each planogram
• Develops proper planograms taking into consideration such factors as space utilization, rate of sale, optimal inventory levels, store labor costs, ease of customer shopping, and published product
presentation guidelines
• Maintains current planograms for all US stores, including those that are market specific
• As necessary, provides updated planograms to stores to ensure stores have the needed information to execute the reset

• Communicates to store set-up any planogram changes and answers to questions submitted from field
• Supports the development of additional spatial core planograms. These core planograms will be used as a guideline to follow during the planogram versioning process where planograms are created and assigned to each store based on local market assorting
• Assist Planogram Analyst when necessary to travel to stores or to the planogram room to make test displays to "see how the proposed display looks when completed
• Keeps Planogram Leadership Team informed of potential issues/problems
• Ensures the planogram assigned to each store accurately reflects assorting decisions as well as product support material that enables all product stock/non-stock decisions to be driven from the planogram as well as product support material to be ordered based on planogram information
• As required assembles Planogram Projects for deployment to SSCB
• May be called upon to train new team members
Required Qualifications
• High School or GED or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills/Education
• 2 years retail store experience or merchandising team
