The Mgr-Planogram is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic development and execution of performance-based planograms that drive merchandising effectiveness across Lowe's retail footprint. This position leads a cross-functional team of Leads and Analysts, ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives and space productivity goals. Through expert management of

planning cycles, architecture standards, and stakeholder coordination, the Mgr-Planogram ensures the delivery of scalable, data-driven merchandising solutions that enhance store performance and

customer experience.

As a people leader, this role is also accountable for fostering talent development through proactive coaching, performance management, and team engagement.

What you will do

  • Manages and prioritizes the creation of high-quality, performance-driven planograms, ensuring consistency with enterprise merchandising strategies and micro-space initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Assortment Planning, and Field teams to translate category goals into actionable, space-optimized layouts.
  • Oversees workflow management and capacity planning to ensure timely execution and quality delivery across all resets and strategic projects.
  • Acts as the primary escalation point for planogram architecture and standards, resolving cross-functional issues that impact store readiness and merchandising compliance.
  • Partners with Global Team to manage offshore production and ensure cost-effective, timely delivery of planogram assets.
  • Leads and develops a team of Associate Managers and Analysts by providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and talent
  • advancement. Models values-based behavior and supports succession planning by identifying and growing high-potential talent.
  • Champions process innovation and collaborative development initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in planogramming workflows.
  • Leverages analytical insights and operational feedback to optimize the Micro Space planning approach and elevate enterprise merchandising outcomes.
  • Serves as a key strategic enabler in connecting corporate merchandising strategies to in-store execution by driving space optimization, enhancing SKU productivity, and supporting a seamless customer experience across the retail footprint.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8-10 years working in retail environment, store operations, and/or merchandising
  • 5-7 years Planogram development, category space planning, or micro space analytics
  • 3-5 years Managing teams, including experience coaching, mentoring, and performance development
  • 3-5 years Experience with planogram systems (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo), Space analytics tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel)

Preferred Skills/Education

  • Master's degree MBA or Master's in relevant discipline
  • 1-2 years Lowe's Store Support Center, store environment, or similar retail operations setting with hands-on project execution
