The Manager of Category Marketing will work with Merchandising VPs to plan innovative category strategies designed to grow profitable share and improve Lowe's overall value perception. This position will drive the development and planning of differentiating messaging strategies for prioritized Homeowner and Pro customer segments by leveraging consumer
insights and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. The Manager of Category Marketing will serve as a COE for an assigned business division, integrate category expertise across all pillars of the brand strategy and serve as a single point of contact for key leaders within the marketing, merchandising and operations organizations to harmonize Go-To-Market (GTM) plans. The Manager will lead a small team and will be responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to help them achieve their best. To be successful, this role will build, sustain and influence leaders within the Merchandising organization and will communicate regular status updates.

What You Will Do
• Lead 1-3 associate marketers who work closely with cross functional partners, business owners, and other key stakeholders to develop highly effective marketing strategies, tactics and action plans that meet business objectives.
• Analyze/interpret data to draw clear, actionable conclusions that influence program development; create growth supported by fact-based business cases in partnership with Merchandising.
• Work with Sr. Manager and other key marketing leaders on category integration within the annual marketing calendar that will drive category sales and build the brand.
• Manage the development of the category library and serves as the integrator across marketing and broader organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ID product launches, product growth opportunities and priority items lists for Homeowner and Pro.
• Lead the marketing execution of promotional strategies with merchants and pricing partners, based on strong understanding of customer value, economics and competitive actions. Ensures consistent delivery across all customer facing touch points in store and online.
• Partner with key merchandising partners to ensure specific visual merchandising support plans align to in-store experiences to overall marketing experience.
• Leverage data to identify actionable insights that inform go to market plans.
• Analyze, monitor and report on the impact of strategies against goals and objectives both quarterly and annually.
• Manage planning conversations with vendors and Lowe's Media Network (LMN) and will be the subject matter expert in their vertical.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field
• 7 Years Marketing experience
• 3 Years Brand or integrated marketing leadership experience for consumer brands or retailer
• 1 Year Running a P&L and/or working alongside P&L owners
• 1 Year Working cross-functionally
Preferred Skills/Education
1 Year Leading brand or category work at a retailer or CPG company
