Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the HR portfolio management and governance process. This includes supporting the development of the HR strategy, management of the strategic roadmap and metrics, managing the portfolio and demand planning and capacity management processes, and portfolio reporting. The Portfolio Planning Manager ensures timely and accurate communication to all key stakeholders regarding the HR Portfolio. This role will also be responsible for the management and evolution of the HR Portfolio tool, Monday.com.
What you will do
- Manage HR portfolio intake to ensure COEs are compliant with process and have obtained proper signoff/approval from executive sponsors.
- Facilitate prioritization to ensure the most critical work is sourced appropriately to meet the organizational objectives and return on investment.
- Partners with Operations, IT, Finance, and COE subject matter experts to ensure business cases are captured and oversee scoping effort that will drive work effort estimations and impact assessments.
- Prepares presentations and facilitate the Portfolio review in the Monthly Business Review and Demand Committee meetings with the HR Leadership Team.
- Serves as a point of escalation on performance, capacity and financial risks related to HR Portfolio Planning and Management.
- Continues to enhance the HR Portfolio tool (Monday.com) to include building a capacity management process and tools. Identify gaps, risks and facilitate the development of mitigation plans.
- Provides a holistic communication and change strategy for portfolio initiatives to ensure stakeholders and sponsors have insight into portfolio of work, change requests, resource alignments, and expected outcomes.
- Manages the Governance Committee meetings to drive decisioning against new initiative requests and inflight efforts and provide a full Portfolio Health review for the governing body.
- Defines Project Trade-off impacts, funding needs, and manages prioritization amongst entire functional Portfolio initiatives in preparation for the Governance committee meetings.
- Partners with Business Owners to consolidate project status updates, define and manage the creation of Portfolio reporting, and analyze key performance indicators that measure against the Project Forecast and Actuals (including the overall health of the portfolio) to share with leadership.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics or related field
- 8 years progressive experience in IT, systems, HR systems, projects, and program management
- 8 years experience successfully managing multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery & implementation under time, budget, and political pressure; familiarity with risk mitigation strategies
- 8 years experience to identify, analyze and communicate requirements and results; ability to communicate effectively
- 6 years experience successfully managing people and teams to get optimal performance results by setting clear expectations and strengthening the team
- 6 years experience leading and mentoring a team and helping to foster/create a "great place to work.
Preferred Skills/Education
- Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics or related field
