The Early and Emerging Recruiter - Technology serves as the primary point of contact and advisor to business leaders (VP and below), technology recruiters, and HRBPs for all Early and Emerging Talent programs within the Lowe's Technology organization. The recruiter will participate in targeted recruiting events and serve as the main relationship manager for tech-focused Early and Emerging Talent partners, including core universities, diversity associations, and non-traditional pathways like coding bootcamps.
This role supports a range of talent pipelines, including university, military, early career, and non-traditional tech talent.

- Manage end-to-end recruiting logistics, including requisition creation, job postings, and tracking in Workday and the Early and Emerging Talent Trackers.
- Maintain all documentation including intake forms, phone screening notes, and feedback documents.
- Coordinate with the TA Coordinator for interview scheduling and contingency logistics using standardized templates.
- Ensure compliance with hiring processes, including internal transfer approvals, compliance regulations, and requisition management for Launchpad and internships.
- Build recruiting strategies in alignment with the Tech Talent Vertical, HRBPs, and Technology business leaders (VP and below).
- Act as advisor to business recruiters and leaders on early-career technology hiring programs, including Launchpad and internships.
- Use internal data and external benchmarks to influence hiring decisions and improve conversion.
- Attend tech recruiter team meetings to build alignment across all business lines within Technology.
- Recruit for internships, Launchpad rotational roles, and full-time entry-level technology positions.
- Identify and engage candidates through sourcing strategies tailored to tech talent (e.g., coding competitions, GitHub, core schools).
- Maintain a high-quality candidate pipeline, focusing on inclusivity and diversity in tech.
- Build candidate slates and advise hiring managers through the interview and offer process.
- Lead event participation at targeted universities and conferences
- Manage relationships with tech-focused organizations and non-profits
- Partner with the Early and Emerging Event Manager to coordinate and track all engagements using the Events Tracker.
- Serve as the primary contact for Tech interns from offer through the summer program.
- Support onboarding and programming alongside the Early and Emerging Program Coordinator.
- Drive engagement through pre-internship "keep warm strategies and Tech Launchpad onboarding support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Employer Branding, L&D, and Tech Leadership to craft compelling stories for candidates.
- Contribute to the Early and Emerging Talent Team's metrics tracking, reporting conversion outcomes and event ROI.
- Requires Travel up to 70% of the time during peak recruiting times of the year.
- This role requires being local to the Charlotte/ Mooresville area.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in HR, Business, or other relevant degree OR 4 years experience in lieu of degree
- 5 years recruiting experience
- 5 years experience with behavioral interviewing
- 5 years experience using an applicant tracking system
- Experience proactively searching for and engaging passive candidates
- Experience consulting with and influencing hiring managers
- 3 years experience sourcing through candidate social networking tools and using creative sourcing methodologies (X-ray, FlipSearch, Boolean Search)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years experience recruiting mid- to senior-level roles
