Your Impact
As a Creative Marketing, Social Media Intern at Lowe's, you'll play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up across the social ecosystem - from owned content to influencer partnerships to paid campaigns. You'll support our social team broadly, contributing to strategic go-to-market plans that connect with audiences, elevate our brand voice, and bring big ideas to life across platforms.
Working within the Marketing organization, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners - including creative, media, and agency teams - to help activate integrated social programs that drive engagement, awareness, and cultural relevance for Lowe's.
This internship is ideal for students who are passionate about brand storytelling, digital culture, and the evolving role of social media in shaping consumer behavior.
Summer Internship Program

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26th - July 31st, 2026) immerses you in real-world retail operations. You'll work directly with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

Do Your Best Work in Mooresville
This internship is based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Our corporate office is a space where you can collaborate and do your best work. Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out or get a check-up - we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.
What You Will Learn
- Contribute to the development and execution of social go-to-market strategies across channels.
 - Support cross-functional planning for key campaigns, product launches, and brand moments.
 - Assist the Lowe's Creator Team by collaborating with influencers and creators to develop authentic, engaging content that aligns with Lowe's brand voice and campaign goals.
 - Monitor social and cultural trends to identify opportunities for brand engagement.
 - Support measurement and reporting to assess performance and uncover insights that inform future strategies.
 - Participate in social content brainstorming and ideation sessions across various formats: video, stories, graphics, and UGC.
 
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.
 - Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.
 
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
 - Passion for social media and digital storytelling.
 - Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for tone and brevity.
 - Familiarity with platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
 - Basic understanding of performance metrics (likes, shares, engagement rate, etc.).
 - Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus.
