Corporate Merchandising Analyst Internship - Summer 2026
Your Impact
As a Corporate Merchandising Analyst Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the teams that determine what products appear on our shelves and when. You'll work alongside merchandising leaders, learning how we analyze customer data, forecast trends, manage inventory strategies, and partner with suppliers - all while influencing real-time decisions for one of the largest retailers in the country. You'll gain insight into how we make strategic business decisions that drive millions in sales and support our stores across 1700+ communities.

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26th - July 31st) immerses you in real-world retail operations. You'll work directly with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

This internship is based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Our corporate office is a space where you can collaborate and do your best work. Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out or get a check-up - we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.
What You Will Learn
- Analyze sales performance, consumer behavior, and market trends to support assortment planning.
- Collaborate with merchants and suppliers to drive pricing, promotion, and inventory strategies.
- Use tools like Excel, Power BI, and internal dashboards to manage and visualize data.
- Assist with SKU rationalization, vendor performance reviews, and seasonal planning.
- Develop and present recommendations that improve category performance and customer experience.
- Gain exposure to Lowe's merchandising tools, systems, and decision-making frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Expected graduation dates of December 2026, May 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Previous internship or leadership experience is a plus.
