About the Team: 

Our team closely partners with teams in the Demand Side (DSP) of Liftoff’s platform. We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to support high-impact decision-making across the business. This role plays a critical part in helping us understand and drive performance across various areas of our commercial operations. You will be a key part of a team of 4, analyzing business performance, quantifying strategic initiatives, and providing insights that accelerate growth for both Liftoff and our partners.

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze commercial data across sales, marketing, creative, finance, and product to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with insights from customer, campaign, and market data.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and enable data-driven decisions.
  • Deliver models and written analyses to guide business planning, product strategies, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing solutions. 
  • Prepare presentations and business reviews for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and data visualization platforms. Experience in Looker & Tableau is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably an ad-tech environment.
  • Proven ability to turn complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Collaborative attitude; ability to work alongside multiple teams and comprehend stakeholder needs.
  • Growth mindset; hunger for knowledge, a willingness to experiment, learn from feedback, and iterate rapidly to continually improve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor insights to various audiences.

Location:

We are ideally looking for someone based in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Travel Expectations:

We offer several opportunities for in-person team gatherings, including but not limited to project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events. We expect our employees to attend these gatherings at least once per quarter. These gatherings provide essential opportunities for collaboration, communication, and team building. 

Compensation:

Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on the candidate's location and experience. The following are our salary ranges including On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role: 

  • SF Bay Area: $107,800 - $126,500 (OTE)
