The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

We are adding a new Product Delivery team and are looking for an experienced and energetic leader to join the Property & Specialty Delivery team and deliver best-in-class pricing sophistication! Come lead our Property & Specialty Product Program Delivery team and operationalize our newest pricing models in every state. In this role, you will work closely with the Data Science, State Management, Program Management, Solution Delivery and IT organizations to bring our latest programs to life. Your role will be essential in enabling the USRM (US Retail Market) organization to rebuild and bring to market our Property & Specialty Products and deliver target returns by winning on pricing sophistication.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team which includes people leaders and a group of program delivery analysts with a wide range of experience and skills, including project management, analysis, technical tool and data work and communication
  • Ensure that the team executes at a high level to keep complex project deliverables on track
  • Drive continuous speed to market and accuracy improvements so that we can become a best-in-class delivery organization
  • Establish productive working relationships with peers across the value stream to ensure that all teams work effectively together to keep initiatives on track
  • Create a culture of teamwork, innovation, and growth so that Program Delivery is a best place to work
  • Lead on strategic initiatives as they surface, including complex state strategy
  • Clearly articulate progress and plans on a regular basis to Senior leadership and other stakeholders across USRM
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years, typically 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Expert skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (eg, SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience directly managing others required.
  • Experience managing operations is beneficial.
  • High-level knowledge of data sources, tools, and the business (lines, systems, pricing plans), predictive modeling, and code (eg SAS, SQL).
  • Significant understanding of competitors' pricing strategies and relationship to our own.
  • Industry knowledge developed from internal meetings, news alerts, project-specific work, and proactive research into competitor strategies.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field. PhD beneficial
