This role will lead the USRM (US Retail Market) Consolidated Reporting and Enablement team, responsible for delivering strategic financial insights, driving reporting modernization, and elevating results analytics across US Retail Markets. The role is central to producing and communicating monthly financial results, driving improvements in reporting accuracy and granularity and enabling decision-making across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring a strong process improvement mindset and a forward-looking vision for how AI and automation can transform financial operations.
As the source of truth for USRM results, this leader will collaborate broadly across USRM and LMG (Liberty Mutual Group). Building a strong partnership with the planning team is critical to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasted performance enabling this leader to contextualize results, surface meaningful insights, and influence forecast updates based on emerging trends. The role will also emphasize employee development and foster a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged team culture that supports both individual growth and enterprise goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production of monthly financial results (e.g. Consolidated, LOB, and State P&Ls) for the USRM business with responsibilities for book close, coordination with corporate finance, accounting and reinsurance.
- Deliver the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) presentation to senior leadership
- Serve as the source of truth for USRM results supporting internal and external reporting, including Townhalls, scorecards, MD&A, investor presentations, CFO materials, and monthly newsletters.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships across USRM Finance, Strategy, and Risk Analytics as well as Corporate Finance.
- Drive prioritization efforts for ongoing granularity enhancements across the USRM business.
- Support ongoing business and enterprise-wide initiatives
- Champion process improvement initiatives including AI-driven solutions to enhance reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Attract, develop and advance the careers of team members from all backgrounds and experiences cultivating a high-performing finance team.
- Support the Global Finance community by building a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

- BS degree in finance, business or accounting, or equivalent experience
- CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
- 10-15 years of experience, including proven P&C industry experience and management responsibility
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
