The Actuarial Reserving Support Team within Global Risk Solutions (GRS) Actuarial is seeking a motivated Junior or Senior Data Solutions Analyst. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on independent thinking, creative problem-solving, and adapting to changing challenges. In this role, you will use your strong technical skills - especially in Python and SQL - to automate workflows, enhance data processes, and deliver valuable insights supporting GRS reserving. We encourage self-driven candidates who are eager to explore new technologies and approaches with minimal supervision. Additional technical skills and the ability to quickly learn new tools are a plus.

This is a remote position. You will be required to go into the office twice a week if you reside within 50 miles of a Liberty Mutual office. Please note this policy is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced technical skills (Python, SQL, and others) to automate and optimize complex data workflows that support reserving activities.
• Collaborate closely with reserving actuaries to understand business needs, identify challenges, and deliver tailored technical solutions that add value.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to stakeholders across various levels, including senior management.
• Participate in special projects involving Robotic Process Automation (RPA), ResQ reserving software, and internal data platforms.
• Work closely with global teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and promote a seamless user experience.
• Regularly meet with your manager to review progress, align on priorities, and seek guidance as needed.
• Develop tools, processes, and documentation to enhance transparency, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement across reserving and pricing teams as well as related business units.
