Description

Power and Associates survey customers gave Liberty Mutual Insurance high scores for representatives' courtesy, knowledge, concern, useful information, and overall service.
As a Liberty Mutual Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be a key point of contact for our customers, answer questions, addressing concerns, and supporting Liberty Mutual Insurance's mission of "helping people live safer, more secure lives. Our success depends on delighting our customers, and each day our customer service professionals live up to that responsibility.
You will perform a full range of customer services activities such as obtaining information from policy holder callers, responding to inquiries or problems and explaining processing procedures. Superior customer focus is our primary goal: we make it possible for you to provide it.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze customer needs to ensure high customer satisfaction, growth and retention of business.
- Provide timely and accurate guidance and service to policy holders for a variety of product, plan or programs.
- Resolve and take corrective action on policy holder inquiries (i.e. Account Status, billing information, renewal, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial insurance-related customer service practices, policies, and rating plans.
- Ability to identify and solve problems; express ideas clearly (orally and in writing), concisely and persuasively; and focus on customers.
- Maintains technical proficiency by staying abreast of business and industry changes as well as participating in continuing education as normally acquired through an Associate's degree or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of related commercial lines experience, preferably with national accounts.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
