Description
Global Risks Solutions (GRS), Liberty Mutual's global business which operates in
nearly thirty countries, seeks an Associate Director of Alignment to support
and manage strategic projects in support of the GRS CFO and across GRS.
- Support the development of executive presentations for GRS and Office of the CFO. This includes structuring, storyboarding, and working across the organization to ensure broad connection and consistency; and developing supporting materials needed to effectively communicate key messages.
- Manage, set, and coordinate the engagement mechanisms (e.g., cadences, workshops, offsites) for the Office of the CFO communities to help the GRS CFO effectively manage across the organization.
- Actively participate as a member of the Office of the CFO leadership team, guiding strategic
- discussions, decision making, and alignment.
- Lead the monitoring and measurement of progress and key results for select Office of the CFO initiatives such as GRS Goals & Scorecard.
- Facilitate prioritization and resource assignment for Office of the CFO work requests. Collaborate closely with peers in Office of the CFO to coordinate resourcing for cross-functional initiatives.
- Assist with components of the Office of the CFO monthly budget process, as required.
- Manage junior members of the team to deliver tactical execution (i.e. L&D Initiatives, Factbook), as needed
- Active member of the GRS Alignment team to execute alignment strategy across GRS.

- Strong knowledge of project management principles and concepts.
- Strong ability to manage all aspects of the project management life cycle.
- Proficient with project management tools.
- Project management certification strongly preferred.
- Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
- Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Strong business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to include project management work.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
