Analyst, Auto Program Enhancements & Special Projects
Description
The Product Enhancements & Special Projects team is a fast-paced and dynamic group dedicated to delivering the latest Personal Lines product enhancements into the US market. We are responsible for the countrywide implementation of new product features such as coverages, discounts, benefits, programs, and pricing updates. Potential projects span both brands, and are aligned to key US priorities.
This highly collaborative role works with a diverse project team to ensure a smooth and successful implementation of tactical pricing enhancements. You will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, milestone tracking, creation of state-level materials, and post-launch monitoring analysis. You may also support your team members with additional project work.

- Ensures accurate research and materials through attention to detail
- Quickly learns new concepts, processes, and tools
- Develop and execute countrywide business implementation plans for assigned projects
- Lead regular project team meetings to review progress, track timelines, and coordinate deliverables
- Draft and maintain state-level business deliverables (filings, rater updates, product guides, rule manuals, etc.)
- Coordinate with sponsors, product owners, state teams, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate state-specific requirements and deliverables
- Provide ad hoc analysis and actionable recommendations to project teams
- Query data to support post-launch monitoring and insights (with support as needed)
- Present project updates and results to sponsors, department meetings, and state teams
- Mentor colleagues and support job-shadowing opportunities as needed
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field.
- Minimum 2 year's relevant experience, typically 3 years.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
- Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
