Team: Partner Data and Process Solutions within Agency Distribution Solutions
About the team: The Partner Data and Process Solutions team drives the operational capabilities that support Liberty Mutual and Comparion Insurance Agencies. We own data and process solutions that enable agency partnerships, carrier integrations, and business movement across channels. We are building book roll (book-of-business transfer) capabilities into a core, repeatable competency and are hiring a hands-on specialist to lead that effort.
Role overview: This role is a mix of tactical execution and strategic design. You will become the subject matter expert on book rolls, lead data integration and scalable solution design, and run cross functional projects that advance our book transfer capabilities. You will work with diverse internal and external stakeholders, evaluate vendor and technology options, and help operationalize new capabilities that materially change how our agencies move business.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on book roll practices and the range of industry-supported options.
- Lead data integration efforts to enable book-of-business movement across partners, agencies, and carriers.
- Design and implement a scalable, repeatable book roll solution that becomes a core agency competency.
- Drive projects end-to-end: define requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and secure senior leader buy-in.
- Evaluate new technology vendors and integration approaches (including APIs) and bring broad, creative options to the table.
- Support carrier launches, day-to-day partner data management, and operational execution of book rolls.
- Monitor book roll outcomes, identify and resolve issues, and iterate on process and tooling ? recognizing that transfers require ongoing attention after initial movement.
- Provide thought leadership on how the new capability can enable growth and improve partner experiences.
- Support other cross functional or operational PDM activities as assigned. Flex across teams as needed.
- Highly organized with demonstrated project management experience.
- Self-starter who identifies process gaps, proposes improvements, and drives execution.
- Strong ability to translate requirements and priorities between technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience with independent agency technology including AMS, IVANS, and API integrations.
- Track record of leading cross-functional projects and gaining alignment from senior leaders.
- Comfortable using data to inform strategic decisions and measure outcomes.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating with ambiguity.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and concepts.
- Proven ability to manage the project management life cycle for projects of varying complexity.
- Proficient with project management tools.
- Project management certification strongly preferred.
- Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
- Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Proven business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in addition to 6+ years of relevant experience to include project management work. Advanced degree preferred.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
