WHO YOU ARE:
The Account Executive position is a critical role that engages with customers and our digital marketing platform channels throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Helping clients drive digital transformation. We are engaged early in the platform sales process to help consult and articulate product vision, value, and orchestrate great customer experience.
As an Account Executive, you are responsible for determining where to focus our pursuit efforts (and where NOT to focus). The role involves strategic selling and digital marketing consulting in named accounts. In addition, you can expect to be working closely with the respective Consulting specialists supporting the team to develop new value propositions, build awareness and reveal new sales opportunities. The focus of this role is to acquire new customers and develop the new customers into existing business. You will be solution selling, consulting, and partnering with multiple resources in those pursuits.
WHAT YOULL DO:
? Responsible for qualifying, developing, and closing business across a set of target accounts within North America by selling services for leading marketing technology platforms. ? Develop a comprehensive sales plan to reach and exceed sales quota both on an annual and quarterly basis.
? Be a trusted advisor by leading engagements with clients, support a clear value framework, run communications across C-level executives, and facilitate communications and partnerships across client business and Cognizant.
? Develop and maintain senior-level relationships (including CMO and CIO/CTO) within target accounts.
? Craft a vision for what Lev is capable of delivering to drive the clients business forward. Develop prospecting plan(s) alongside a territory roadmap to show how growth will be achieved within respective channels. Territory definition based on channel alignments and emphasis on vertical and industry where this makes sense.
? Follow the sales processes/procedures including creating and maintaining a monthly/quarterly sales forecast and excellent SFDC hygiene.
? Build strong relationships with the wider ecosystem including pre-sales to drive exceptional customer experiences, working throughout the Partner eco-system.
? Keep the Client Success Partners informed of developing activities, pipeline growth and highlight non-traditional opportunities to key leaders early in the development process in order to ensure Lev can deliver the vision that is being sold, with both technical expertise and the right mix of talent.
? Respond to RFPs and additional legal/pre-sales documentation
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
? Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
? Proven experience as an Enterprise Account Executive, or in other senior level sales/customer service role
? Significant experience in B2B selling, complex sales cycles, an aptitude for technical concepts, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
? Have a strong consultative experience in Digital Marketing platforms and strategy development
? Experience with and the ability to sell confidently on various MarTech capabilities, including but not limited to Salesforce (MC Engagement, Personalization, Intelligence, CRM, etc.) and Adobe Experience Cloud (Target, Campaign, Journey Optimizer, Marketo Engage, etc.)
? Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
? Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
? Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
? Superior client facing interaction skills
? Ability to conceptualize, design, and execute successful partnerships
? Excellent communication and presentation skills
? Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities
? Ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail
? Ability to travel, as needed
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $73,000 - $160,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
