Zero Trust Cyber Security Analyst

4 days ago Flexible / Remote

Description

The Digital Modernization Health IT group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Zero Trust Cyber Security Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely, as well as use your expertise helping protect our military families, supporting the Veterans Administration (VA) Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Program. As a Zero Trust Cyber Security Analyst, you will be assisting in assessing the design, implementation, maintenance and reporting of the VA's Zero Trust architecture, to ensure the highest level of security across VA's digital assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance the Zero Trust framework, minimizing risk exposure and protecting sensitive information from potential threats.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a customer-facing liaison for the Zero Trust Program, fostering strong relationships with system owners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate directly with system owners to collect detailed technical and procedural insights.
  • Interpret Zero Trust principles and convert them into customized, actionable strategies for diverse system environments.
  • Complete and maintain intake documentation, meeting calendars, follow-up communications, and progress tracking tools.
  • Ensure that baselines, Business Gap Analyses (BGAs), and implementation plans are informed by authentic customer feedback-not just automated assessments.
  • Contribute to implementation deliverables by integrating verified customer data into solution packages.

At Leidos, we don't want someone who "fits the mold"-we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, "what's next?" before the dust settles on "what's now."

If you're already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2... good. You'll fit right in.
