The Defense Group of Leidos has a career opportunity for a Virtual Infrastructure Systems Engineer located in Djibouti.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform data center infrastructure network engineering and design on a geographically dispersed enterprise network.
• Provide engineering efforts in the lifecycle of projects to include documentation, design, build, integrate, transition, implementation, test, and training for transitioned to IT Operations Management.

• Analyze and provide recommendations for hardware and software life cycle and standardization for the enterprise and recommend best-practice solutions for datacenter and virtual infrastructure technologies.
• Work in dynamic fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts including remote site support and/or travel to customer servers and sites as required.
• Provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
• Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience.
• Extensive knowledge of VI environments and the continued operation of a large scale VI deployment
• VMWare Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VPC-DCV)
• CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Server 2016
• Engineering background in design, implementation and migration of Data Center technologies to include Cisco NEXUS products, Cisco UCS, Cisco UCS Manager, Fabric Interconnects, NETAPP storage solutions/ SAN configurations, FCOE, VMWARE, ESXi, SNAP mirroring.
• Must be willing/able to work OCONUS for minimum of one year.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Familiarity with private cloud virtualization and virtual networks in VMWare environments using hyperflex solutions to support Citrix VDI environments would be desirable.
• ITIL v3 or v4 - Foundation
• Experience with Citrix licensing
• Cisco Data Center Certification (CCNA, CCNP)
• Netapp Certification
• Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
• Understanding of Department of Defense Military standard.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
