Leidos has an exciting opening for you as our next Tech Writer to play a critical role with the release of a state-of-the-art technology stack under the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract supporting the OSINT Integration Center (OSIC). This position provides an opportunity to have impact as part of a mission focused, solutions oriented, and adaptive team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional development. While the work is primarily conducted on-site at our client locations, we offer a flexible schedule and, occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely.

As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for drafting, editing, proofreading and providing writing support on technical OSINT reports and product documentation prepared by our team's developers, engineers, and user services representatives. Duties include ensuring documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style. You will work with the team to ensure editorial changes retain the essential technical elements, while improving the overall work product.

You bring enthusiasm and initiative while having the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience and meet the following qualifications:

  • Requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.


  • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance


  • Technical Writer Experience


  • Experience working with the Defense Open Source Community


  • MS Office, particularly Word


  • Experience interacting with various stakeholders


  • Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD


  • Excellent organization and tracking skills


  • Experience with creating workflows


  • Team player with ability to work autonomously


  • Experience working with Intelligence Community and Law Enforcement Agencies


  • Experience with creating user guides and training end users for software platforms

You will wow us even more if you have some of these:

  • Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD


  • Experience with CM tools - SharePoint, Git, etc.


  • Experience with Agile practices


  • Cert in SAFE, CSM or other Agile area


  • Experience with CMMI

Pay Range:

Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
