Leidos' Defense Systems Persistent Surveillance Portfolio is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our team. We are seeking a highly technical Program Manager to join our team supporting the Persistent Surveillance Portfolio. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of radar technologies, systems engineering, and program execution. As the Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the successful execution of the program, meeting all technical, schedule, and cost objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of radar S&T projects in support of the Persistent Surveillance Portfolio's continued growth and product improvement.
• Coordinate with the customer and across engineering, supply chain, production, and quality teams to meet program milestones.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical and programmatic objectives.
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance against contract requirements using industry-standard project management tools (e.g., IMS).
• Oversee technical risk management and issue resolution across radar systems and supporting subsystems (RF, signal processing, software, etc.).
• Develop and present program status updates and technical briefings to internal leadership and external customers.
• Support proposal development, including cost estimates, technical approach, and program schedules
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience plus 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in engineering or relevant experience plus 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years experience in radar system development
- 3+ year experience in project, program or control account management role
- Proven ability to manage cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
- Strong technical background, with knowledge of engineering principles.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in risk management, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project.
- Must be a US citizen, possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
- Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL, area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on DoD radar program

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
