Based in Port Hueneme, CA, the O/MUSV program develops and operates prototype autonomous vessels for testing, evaluation, and fleet readiness. Our team is responsible for crafting the logistics, maintenance, operations, and training protocols for the Navy's autonomous fleet of tomorrow.

🔧 Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you'll collaborate with Program Management, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to source materials and services essential to vessel operations and crew support. You'll serve as a key liaison between internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy aligned with program milestones.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Submit purchase requests via the Leidos procurement system based on program needs
- Receive and identify incoming materials; maintain accurate records and generate reports for leadership
- Support warehousing and inventory management for vessels, spares, and supplies in Port Hueneme
- Maintain inventory data-including unit costs and NSNs-within the Vessel Management System
✅ Basic Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong communication skills across email, Teams, and phone
- Familiarity with supply chain workflows; Navy Supply System experience preferred
- Professional demeanor when interacting with vendors, Navy personnel, and leadership
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree
- U.S. Citizenship required
💡 Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CostPoint procurement software
- Familiarity with SharePoint and advanced Excel functions
- Knowledge of HAZMAT handling, shipping, and storage protocols

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
