Leidos is hiring a Sr NIFI/Linux Systems Engineer in the Ft. Meade area, MD. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to be considered.
Job Summary
The NIFI/Linux Systems Engineer will serve as the TTO Site Engineer performing remote maintenance and refresh efforts for 8 sites. Performs daily interaction with partner entities.
The Engineer will need extensive experience in Linux and Ciena to support with system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, configuration of telecom network and software packages.
The Sr Engineer will need knowledge of cables and collection systems as well as a thorough understanding of data flow.
The Engineer will engage SMEs, perform data validation once software is deployed, submit DMRs for data flow path problems/fixes, configure new software updates, and perform troubleshooting.

Must be experienced in NiFi and Linux.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- BS in SE, CS, IS or related discipline and 14 years of SE experience OR 19 years of related SE experience without a degree
- Extensive experience in Linux and Ciena

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
