We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Space Management Analyst who is responsible for the planning, analysis, allocation, and optimization of physical space within federal or commercial facilities. This role supports both strategic and operational space planning initiatives by maintaining accurate space data, analyzing occupancy metrics, and providing recommendations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and mission support readiness. The ideal candidate has experience with Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems, AutoCAD-based floorplans, and space utilization analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and analyze the allocation and optimization of physical space across offices, buildings, or campuses.
- Track and report on space utilization, capacity, and occupancy metrics to support both short-term and long-term space strategies.
- Maintain and update space allocation data within CAFM systems such as ARCHIBUS, TRIRIGA, or equivalent platforms.
- Support move management and office reconfigurations based on organizational and operational requirements.
- Conduct onsite space surveys, validate existing floorplans, and update space drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Power BI to support planning, budget justifications, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including facilities managers, project planners, IT, and security teams to assess and fulfill space requests.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal space planning standards, such as GSA PBS, UFC 3-120-01, and ANSI/BOMA.

- Assist with the development of occupancy plans, relocation strategies, and broader workplace strategy initiatives to support organizational goals.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field or additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in facilities operations, space planning, or property management, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of facility management, facility maintenance, and day-to-day operations.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and relevant regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, ADA).
- Proficient in project planning, project scheduling, and budgeting for facility-related initiatives.
- Ability to manage and maintain systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation for services and capital projects.
- Proficiency with office productivity and facilities software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate space and resource needs.
- Effective communicator capable of engaging with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional teams or lower-level staff.
- Experience with conducting facility inspections and implementing corrective actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or BOMI designation).
- OSHA 30-hour certification or training in workplace safety and environmental standards.
- Experience with CAFM/IWMS systems (e.g., ARCHIBUS, TRIRIGA) for space allocation and planning.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools to review/interpret architectural and engineering plans.
- Use of Power BI, Visio, or equivalent tools for space utilization analysis and reporting.
- Prior experience supporting federal, government, or secure site facilities (e.g., understanding GSA or UFC standards).
- Knowledge of real estate leasing, capital improvement planning, or long-term asset lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated success in long-range space planning, workforce planning, or corporate relocation initiatives.
- Experience leading cross-functional facility initiatives and influencing senior leadership on space and resource planning.
- Ability to develop and enforce facilities-related policies and ensure organizational compliance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
