SATCOM Communications Analyst
Leidos | Hurlburt Field, FL (TS/SCI Required)
Elevate global SATCOM and ISR capabilities for ground and airborne operations. As a key systems engineer and analyst, you'll shape the research, development, integration, and sustainment of cutting-edge satellite and telecom solutions-translating hardware insights into innovative tactics, workflows, and mission-critical reports.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recommend and architect Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), system workflows, and training programs
- Administer and secure NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks as ISSO, ITEC, and Cyber Security Liaison
- Analyze satellite and wireless technologies to identify emerging trends and integration opportunities
- Lead systems engineering-from R&D and site surveys through installation, evaluation, data collection, and sustainment training
- Propose and execute SATCOM/wireless network improvements for optimal efficiency and operator effectiveness
- Produce high-impact, data-driven reports that guide decision-makers
- Validate and enforce standardized operating procedures and TTPs for production environments
- Conduct advanced intelligence, network, and system-of-systems analysis
- Enhance existing data-link and IC ITE architectures using COTS and GOTS solutions

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of systems engineering or SATCOM analysis experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Hands-on SATCOM expertise and demonstrated wireless networking knowledge
- Practical experience with routers, switches, LAN/WAN protocols, network analysis, and Type 1 encryption devices
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA-Security, CySA+, or equivalent)
- Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal SATCOM and wireless communications certifications
- Experience with COTS/GOTS data-link technology and IC ITE system architectures
- Background in maritime, airborne, or ground ISR sensor integration

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
