Description

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented SAP Administrator who is responsible for maintaining and administering the SAP Project System (SAP PS) modules to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project-related data. This role supports the creation, maintenance, and closure of project structures, WBS elements, and cost planning in alignment with project and finance requirements. The SAP Administrator plays a key role in financial monitoring, reporting, and compliance, and acts as a liaison between project teams and technical/finance support staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain SAP Project System (PS) structures including WBS elements, networks, and cost objects.
  • Support the creation, modification, and closure of SAP project codes in collaboration with project and finance leads.
  • Monitor project financials in SAP including budgets, actuals, commitments, and forecasts.
  • Generate and distribute standardized and ad hoc financial and status reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Assist with data entry, validation, and reconciliation processes to support month-end close, audits, and project reviews.
  • Act as a liaison between project managers and SAP technical or finance teams to resolve data discrepancies or system issues.
  • Support training and documentation efforts related to SAP project system processes and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and data governance standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, project controls, or project planning.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning principles, budgeting, and scheduling techniques.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Ability to monitor and report on project performance metrics such as cost, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of project documentation processes and standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve ambiguous issues using prior experience and data.
  • Ability to support and train lower-level staff and collaborate across functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Experience working on government, defense, engineering, or large-scale technical projects.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting projects with significant cost and schedule impact.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) or other performance tracking methodologies.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Experience contributing to the development of program plans and performance dashboards.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools or reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $44,200.00 - $79,900.00
