SAIL Social Service Associate
Description
This position supports the Navy Fleet and Family Support contract. NFFS delivers comprehensive Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) services worldwide, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for active-duty Sailors, retirees, eligible civilians overseas, and their families. The program implements, evaluates, and continually refines established FFSP offerings-developing the concepts, structures, and processes needed to maximize well-being across all installations. Key objectives include providing global staffing to supplement existing FFSP personnel through remote or surge/on-demand support, and delivering webinar hosting, production, and facilitation via a robust learning-management system.
The Sailor Assistance and Intercept for Life (SAIL) Social Service Associate coordinates all scheduling for SAIL Case Managers, supervisors, and remote clinical counselors, using FFSMIS (Fleet and Family Support Management Information System) to create, confirm, and swiftly adjust appointments while tracking service metrics. They ensure intake paperwork is completed and uploaded, triage distressed callers to the right clinician, and provide meeting support and minutes for government stakeholders. The role also validates referral data, maintains command and community-resource directories across installations, and completes Sailors' demographic records. Finally, by conducting introductory outreach calls, the associate offers SAIL services and ensures each Sailor receives timely, seamless care.
Candidates MUST be US Citizen located in the United States with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and specialized experience in human services, social sciences, or related field.
- Must possess demonstrated experience providing administrative support to a medical or other social service office.
- Must have experience scheduling services within an electronic scheduling system for a complex medical or mental health services program.
- A social service associate who meets the basic qualifications of a Tier I clinical provider and is privileged as a Tier I clinical provider (completed all education and internship requirements toward licensure and is actively receiving clinical supervision for clinical hours being completed toward an independent mental health licensure requirements) may provide SAIL case management tasks.
- Due to Government contract, US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- This position is a remote position and requires a quiet, private, confidential space to work from as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home or apartment (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home. Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of military culture/lifestyle

- Previous experience in a customer service role, especially in a call center environment

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
